SNO-FOAM
Sno-foam is a liquid concentrate intended to be used at 1% concentrate in
water. One gallon per 99 gallons of water will
produce 3,000
gallons (400 cubic feet) of light, fluffy snow when generated by compressed air
snow-making machines. Snow can be built up to a depth of 15 inches for snowdrifts.
Although normally discharged through hoses, it can also be made to look like falling snow
when applied through spinners. After SNO-FOAM has aged, tire tracks and footprints will
imprint like real snow.
SNO-FOAM is designed to have minimal impact on the environment. It is composed of
water, organic air-entrapment compounds, stabilizers and coupling agents, all of which are
listed in The Index of Cosmetic Ingredients and are 100% biodegradable. When used as
directed, SNO-FOAM is non-toxic to people plants and animals. It will not stain clothing
or harm surfaces that are safe in contact with water.
SNO-FOAM has been used in Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks, in Griffith Park
in Los Angeles, Stanley Park in Vancouver, Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort in California,
inside the ballroom of the Los Angeles Hilton Hotel, The Tonight Show, Strange Universe.
It has also been used on many TV shows, such as Totally Hidden Video and the Family
Hour-Home & Family.
Groundskeepers have reported no ill effects in the use of SNO-FOAM and have
commented on its ease of clean-up and friendly environmental effect. Numerous beautifully
landscaped homes in the Los Angeles basic have been completely "snowed in" with
SNO-FOAM.
The longevity of SNO-FOAM is affected by temperature, wind conditions, type of
surface, time of day and preparation of the area (a wet-down should proceed application).
SNO-FOAM is like real snow, when it's warm and windy, it goes away faster. Experience has
shown that on a 70 degree day it will slowly start to dissipate after two or three hours,
while on a cool day it may last six to eight hours or longer. Use in temperatures over 90
degrees is not uncommon. No other self-dissipating product will last as long as SNO-FOAM.
As the produce disappears, it looks almost identical to real snow melting.
When finished all that needs to be done is to hose down the plants and
walk away. SNO-FOAM will disappear except for a tiny amount of fine white residue which is
100% biodegradable and can either be ignored, swept up, or rinsed away with water. The
actual amount remaining would be about 1 pound per 1000 square feet.

EQUIPMENT RENTAL
The production and application of SNO-FOAM requires an air compressor
capable of delivering 90 to 100 psi on a continual basis, a foam generator of 5 or 15
gallon capacity, garden hose and air lines from the compressor to the foam generator.
5 Gallon Foam generator is available for rental. A $300 deposit is
required for equipment.
