AROMATHERAPY SCENTING TIP!
Use oil made especially for skin application. Add no more than 1/8 oz. of fragrance or 1/16 oz. essential oil to 8 oz. of lotion base. Adding more will make you lotion greasy

SEA SALT BODY SCRUB FORMULA

2 LBS. Medium Sea Salt
2 LBS. Xtra-Fine Sea Salt
1 tsp. Essential oil of choice
1 TBSP. Glycerin
2 oz. Almond Oil
2 oz. Jojoba Oil

Mix well and place in airtight container for storage.

LIQUID SOAP FORMULA
For Body Wash & Hand Wash

2000ml (2 liters) Distilled Water
500ml (1 pint) Liquid Soap Base
3 TBSP + 1 tsp Ligel (Thickener) - see instructions on container
12ml Glydant (Preservative)
Food Dye of choice for color (optional)
2-1/2 oz. fragrance of choice (optional)

Warm water, add Ligel as it cools off. Water will start to thicken. As it does, add the shampoo base. Mix well. (using a glass rod stirrer prevents bubbles from forming). Add any additive you wish, such as glitter, grain products or powdered flower petals. When adding any of these, you must add a preservative to prevent molding. As the mixtures cools, add color and fragrance, if desired.

FACE & BODY SCRUB

1 oz. Liquid Soap Base
2 oz. Distilled Water
3 oz. Skin Emulsion
1/2 teaspoon Apricot Seed Powder
1/4 teaspoon Ligel (follow directions on bottle)
Glydant Preservative (if desired)

Place shampoo base in a mixing bowl. In another container stir Ligel into warm distilled water (follow directions on Ligel bottle), mix until thick. Pour Ligel solution into shampoo base and mix well, we recommend using a whisk for even mixing. Add Skin Emulsion and Apricot Seeds, mix thoroughly.  When adding Apricot Seeds, you must add a preservative to prevent molding.
Makes approximately 8 oz.

MILK & HONEY SOAP

1 Cup Grated Pure Vegetable Soap
2/3 Cup Water
1 Tablespoon Powdered Skim Milk
1 Tablespoon Honey
1 Tablespoon Almond Oil
20 drops Jasmine Oil or fragrance

Melt soap. Mix Honey, Almond Oil and Skim Milk.
When soap has partially cooled, add Jasmine Oil or fragrance of your choice. Pour into molds.

SOFT FEET

Invigorate and soften feet with 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 2 Tablespoons Almond Oil added to a basin of warm water. Gently massage feet and slip into cotton socks.

FOOT SCRUB

1/4 Cup Powdered Loofah
1/2 Cup Ground Oatmeal
2 Tablespoons Sea Salt (Fine)
Lemon Oil & Peppermint Oil
Spring or Tap Water

Combine all dry ingredients. Add water to make a paste, mix well. Add essential oils and mix again. 

Sit on edge of bathtub and scrub feet, especially on heels and between toes. This is quite invigorating especially after being on your feet all day! Apply moisturizer mixed with a few drops of Lemon or Peppermint Oil. Store dry material in a glass jar in the bath!

FOOT POMADE

4 oz Almond Oil
1 oz. Beeswax
1 oz. Cocoa Butter
1 oz. Shea Butter
5 Drops Cedarwood Oil
5 Drops Orange Oil or Peppermint Oil

Heat Almond Oil in a double boiler, add Beeswax, Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter. Heat until melted. Add Cedarwood and Orange Oil. Pour into a jar or container of your choice and let cool in the container before putting on lid.

ROOM SPRAY

1 Tablespoon Blendex
5 Drops Bergamot
8 Drops Orange Oil
8 Drops Lemon Oil
16 oz. Distilled Water

Dilute oils in Blendex. Add distilled water. Shake initially to mix blendex and water solution. Voila! Does not need to be shaken before each use.

SHAMPOO FOR NORMAL HAIR

4 oz Liquid Soap Base
2 Drops Rosemary Oil
4 Drops Lemon Oil
7 Drops Eucalyptus Oil

Dilute liquid soap as instructions on bottle indicate. If necessary, thicken with Ligel. Follow instructions on bottle. Add oils and mix in a blender on slow setting. Pour into bottle or container of your choice.

LONG DISTANCE DRIVING SPRAY
Helps retain attention to driving, 
keeps you awake and smells good too!

1 Tablespoon Blendex
2 Drops Rosemary Oil
1 Drop Eucalyptus Oil
2 Drops Orange Oil
1 Drop Lemon Oil
4 oz. Distilled Water

Dilute oils in Blendex, then add to Distilled Water. Shake initially to mix. 

LIP GLOSS

1/2 oz. Sweet Almond Oil
1/2 oz. Coconut Oil
1/2 oz. Jojoba Oil
1/2 oz. Avocado Oil
1 to 2 oz. Beeswax
1/4 tsp. Essential oil
Optional: Coloring and/or Flavoring (i.e. Peppermint or Cherry)

In double boiler melt Beeswax with oil.
When completely melted, add essential oil and flavoring.
While keeping the solution warm atop the double boiler, spoon into lip gloss containers.
Let cool. the lip gloss is ready use as soon as it has hardened. Do not store in warm places - such as a car in Arizona!

LOTION BARS

1/2 Cup Beeswax
1/4 Cup Sweet Almond Oil
1/4 Cup Cocoa Butter

Melt together in a double boiler. After cooling add additional fragrance if desired, but the Cocoa Butter gives the lotion bar a great scent! Pour into lotion bar containers and let harden.

ROSE BUBBLES

3-1/2 Cups Liquid Soap Base
5 to 6 Vitamin E Capsules
1/4 Cup Glycerin
1 Tablespoon Sugar
20 to 30 drops of Rose Oil or other fragrance
10 drops of Red Food Color

make sure sugar is totally dissolved in liquid soap. Seal.

FOAMING BATH OIL

1/2 Cup Mild Soap
1 Tablespoon Glycerin
1/2 Cup Castor Oil
1/2 Cup Almond Oil
12 drops fragrance of choice

Mix all ingredients together. Soap will turn murcky, but soon will separate into 3 layers. Dye Castor Oil for an interesting effect.

MUSCLE RUB

4 Drops Lavender Oil
3 Drops Peppermint Oil
5 Drops Rosemary Oil

Mix oils into 2 Tablespoons of Almond Oil or any other base oil. Starting with the feet, massage feet and legs.

SUNBURN PAIN REMEDY

8 Drops Lavender Oil
4 Drops Peppermint Oil
8 oz. Distilled Water

Mix ingredients in a spray bottle. The water can be any temperature that is comfortable for you.

SENSUAL & RELAXING BATH

2 Drops Cedarwood Oil
2 Drops Lavender Oil
2 Drops Orange Oil

Mix in 2 Tablespoons of oil base such as Almond Oil. Add to bath water. To get full effects of oil, bathe for at least 20 minutes.

DYNAMIC SPRAY
(For the Physically, Emotionally or Mentally Drained)

2 Drops Orange Oil
2 Drops Cedarwood Oil
2 Drops Rosemary Oil
2 Drops Peppermint Oil
8 oz. Distilled Water

Dissolve oil in Blendex (refer to Blendex formula) and use as a spray to energize and lift spirit.

You can add this formula to Lotion Base for an all day energizer! (minus water)

MUSCLE RELAXING MASSAGE

12 Drops Lavender Oil
12 Drops Lemon Oil
9 Drops Peppermint Oil
9 Drops Rosemary Oil

Add essential oils to 2 Tablespoons of base oil such as Almond Oil. Keep at room temperature or slightly warmer.

Add this formula to 8 oz. of Lotion Base for a relaxing effect, especially before bedtime.

DUSTING POWDER

10 oz. Talc
1/4 oz. Kaolin
1/2 oz. Perfume oil or fragrance to your liking

Place all powders in a bowl. Mix well & screen to be very fine. Add perfume oil and mix again.

STORE FOR 1 WEEK. Repack into small container.

STRESS RELIEF OIL

4 Drops Eucalyptus Oil
2 Drops Cedarwood Oil
4 Drops Peppermint Oil
4 ml. Base Oil

Use a 4 ml. Amber vial.

Place essential oil drops in vial. Fill with base oil. Cover tightly and shake. 

To apply: put a dab of oil mix on the tip of the nose, inhale deeply and exhale slowly.
