Set consists of a 1.875 cm (3/4") brass bal and a 1.875 cm (3/4") I.D. brass ring machined to close tolerances for a snug fit. Ball and ring are mounted on brass rods which are mounted in wooden handles. Tolerances are such that a temperature rise of 100°C in the ball will expand it so it will not pass through the ring.
