Chemical Garden

Combine the following ingredients in a bowl and mix well:
    6 Tablespoons of Salt
    6 Tablespoons of Liquid Bluing
    6 Tablespoons of Water
    1 Tablespoon of Ammonia
Pour this mixture very slowly over some charcoal. The charcoal should be in some kind of bowl or container. As you pour the mixture, make sure that most of the salt stays on top of the charcoal.
    To give your garden some color, you will need some food coloring. With a medicine dropper, drop the different colors all over the mixture. In a short time, little salt crystals will begin to grow!
