This utility grade insect pin is manufactured in England. It provides an inexpensive alternative to the traditional continental variety. "Asta" pins are made of high carbon tempered spring steel wire with black japanned finish. They have upset heads (integral part of the shaft), and fine ground points. Length is 38mm. Packed in clear plastic boxes with approximately 100 pins.
