Combines strong variable magnetic stirring with hot plate, making it possible to stir liquids in closed or vacuum-sealed systems, odd-shaped or narrow necked vessels, etc., at speeds from 100 to 1000 rpm.

Motor-driven magnet rotates beneath the heating plate and exerts torque on Teflon*-covered stirring magnet. A bimetallic heat control maintains temperature stability of the top plate to within ±2.7°C (±5.0°F) over entire operating range of unit (38° to 371°C). Top plate: 6.88x6.88". Weight: 10.75 lbs.
